Out sick. . .

and I hate it. :-(

I’ve been sick with the most horrible cold the past few days and apologize that it has taken me longer than usual to answer e-mails. I’m working on it and should be caught up by this weekend. What’s even worse is Hubby and I had tickets to attend David Jay’s Freedom to Succeed tour and we had to skip out all because of me!! We were so looking forward to attending but Hubby didn’t think I should go for a few reasons: 1 - better for me (and baby!) to rest and 2 - why expose other Houston photographers to my germs? Hopefully, we’ll be able to catch a talk sometime in the future.

Chanica and Matthew’s Sneak Peek!

I know you’re checking Chanica! ;-)

Yesterday, Hubby and I met up with Chanica and Matthew in Downtown Houston to shoot their engagement session.  Chanica and I have been consulting by e-mail for quite a few weeks now and it was great to finally meet her and Matthew - they’re an AWESOME, fun and laid back couple.  We can’t wait to shoot their wedding next July.

As most of our couples know, I usually make the Grooms WORK during the session.  Mostly because the guys are usually tense and wanna show that they’re macho, strong men - when we ALL know that they’re big goofballs when it really comes down to it. :-P  As you can see, Matthew was no exception. . . :-)

Sarah and Robert’s Sneak Peek!!

Finally! Sarah and Robert’s sneak peek! Hubby and I shot Sarah and Robert’s wedding a few weeks ago in League City with the reception following in Alvin, TX. They had a BEAUTIFUL Catholic Ceremony and a ROCKIN’ reception at Joe’s Banquet Hall.

First, the beautiful bride. . . .

Robert didn’t look half bad himself. . .

Sarah’s brother walked her down the aisle - it was so sweet how emotional Sarah got. I don’t think she saw anyone else except Robert waiting for her at the end of the aisle.

 

First kiss as husband and wife! In most Catholic ceremonies the priest won’t say “You may now kiss the bride.” After the ceremony and formal pictures Sarah asked me, “Can we have our first kiss now?” :-P

Sarah and Robert - (and Suzanne!!) Hubby and I had an AWESOME time shooting your wedding. You and your family made us feel so welcome and invited that we actually felt like guests and not wedding vendors! We hope you had an AWESOME time at Disneyworld!
