Our DSL modem was fried to a crisp during the thunderstorms night before last. Therefore, my internet access is VERY limited. I answered a bunch of e-mails this morning (thank goodness for free wi-fi) but I’ll be somewhat out of touch until hubby fixes the problem. So, if you’re e-mail is easily answered I’ll be able to respond through my blackberry otherwise you’ll have to wait one business day. (I usually answer e-mails within 2 or 3 hours.)
In other news, it’s AMAZING what a few weeks does to a pregnant body. Just a few weeks ago, I was tired, moody, slept all the time and hated anything with cheese on it. Now I’m in my second trimester, I have loads of energy and I LOVE cheese and crackers.
Have a great day!
The day after shooting Jennifer and Demas’ wedding we drove to League City to shoot Sarah’s bridals. I’m not going to post any until after the wedding but wanted to show off just one.
Isn’t she beautiful? Robert is a lucky guy!

and the month of fabulous weddings continues. . .
This past Friday, Hubby and I drove to Galveston to shoot Jennifer and Demas’s wedding. Jenn and Demas live in Maui, Hawaii and when Jenn called me last February and said they were getting married in Galveston, without thinking, my first question was, “Have you seen Galveston?” Jenn just laughed and assured me she had been to Galveston many times since Demas’ family lives there.
This year, we feel so blessed to be part of some of the most fun, laid-back weddings ever - and Jennifer and Demas’ wedding was no exception.
I went crazy again and this is my LONGEST sneak peek ever!
The day started with Jenn getting her hair and makeup done at Lulu’s Salon in Galveston. It was so cute when the makeup artist asked Jenn what look she’d like and Jenn pulled out an envelope chock full of pictures to show.

Details, detail details!!!!!

The dress (and Jenn!) were gorgeous and had a TON of buttons it took both of her bridesmaids to get it on her.

Walking down the aisle toward Demas.

More of the ceremony. . . (Greek Orthodox - in case you’re wondering)

After walking around the alter 3 or 4 times they were married!

Happily Married!!

Then, as usual, it was time for some fun, relaxed portraits. . .
Doesn’t Jenn look gorgeous??!!

and Demas didn’t look so bad himself. . .

just beautiful!!

Jenn and Demas - we had an awesome time shooting your wedding and wish you both all the best!! I will be sure to give you a call when we finally make it to Maui! Have a great time on you honeymoon!!
Where have I been??!! IN BED - I tell ya!! This first trimester has laid me out flat - all I want to do is sleep! I finally got out of bed, hopped in the car, and rode shotgun all the way up to Kennard, Texas to shoot Crystal and Brian’s wedding on 6-7-08 with hubby as my partner in crime.
This wedding was a really fun adventure for hubby and I. This was our first “destination wedding” and we had a blast. It was so nice to get out of the city and experience God’s country. Everyone was so laid back and the entire experience can be summarized in one word: fun!!! So without further ado, here is Crystal and Brian’s Sneak Peek!! (WARNING: I went a little crazy - so there’s alot more than the usual 4 or 5 images.)
Upon arriving to Kennard (~3 hours NE of Houston), we were treated to this:

Crystal looked radiant walking down the aisle.

Walking down the aisle for the first time as Mr. and Mrs!

Then it was time for some fun portraits. . .
